Immaculate Conception
Monday is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, and is a holy day of obligation. Our 10am on Monday will be for this celebration. All welcome.

Parish Raffle
The Finance Committee and Fundraising Committee are holding a Christmas raffle Which will take place on Sunday, 14th December in the Community Hall at 12 noon..
Tickets are selling fast and we greatly appreciate your support for this fundraising initiative. Funds raised will be split 50/50 between the parish church and hall.
Tickets cost €5 each. Book of 5, €20. 3 books €50. Lots of great prizes to be won.

Mass Cards
Mass Cards are available in the sacristy. Suggested donation is €10. Please leave the name of the person for whom the Mass will be offered.

Ceili Dancing
Tuesday night’s in the Community Hall. 8pm.

Glenmore Tidy Towns
Please join us for the annual Christmas Tree Lighting this Sunday 7th December at 5 pm and meet Glenmore’s own Mia Griffin Olympian and Tour de France cyclist who is this year’s special guest to turn on the lights. Also Santa will be making a special appearance for the little ones.
Sincere thanks to the Tidy Towns who sponsored the Church Christmas tree, as they do every year. Much appreciated.

Carol Service
This Sunday at 7pm (after the tree lighting ceremony in the village), there will be a Carol Service in the Parish Church starting at 7pm. All are welcome to join in this festive treat helping us prepare for Christmas.

Tractor Run
A presentation of monies from the recent Noeleen’s Tractor Run will be held at the Glen Bar, next Tuesday, 9th December. Light refreshment served. All welcome.

Defibrillator Course
A defibrillator training course has been arranged for December 19th in the Community Hall starting at 7pm. The course can take 12 volunteers. If you would like to volunteer, please give your name to Julie Hoynes 087 762 9898 or Bernie Cullinane 087 753 9706

Chair Exercise
Every Wednesday in the Community Hall. 11am. All welcome to attend .

Christmas Mass Cards
On sale from this weekend are a variety of Christmas Mass Cards. This is a shared Mass scheme and each card costs €2. Masses after Christmas will be offered for the intentions requested. Make sure to leave the names of the people you wish included in these Masses. Cards available in the sacristy.

Next Sunday
Next Sunday is Gaudete Sunday, and is also known as ‘Bambinelli Sunday.’ It’s a tradition that people bring their infant Jesus from their nativity set to be blessed.
So, next Sunday, if you wish, bring along your infant from the crib and have him blessed during the Mass.
