Peter’s Pence Collection
The annual Peter’s Pence Collection for the Pope’s charities will be taken up this
weekend. Apologies for the short notice. It will be included with the
normal offertory collection and anything above the usual amount will
be sent to the diocese. Please support the Church’s work among the poor of the world.
Mass Time Changes
As I’ve mentioned before, in addition to being PP of Glenmore, from August 1st, I will
also become PP of Rosbercon (I will continue to reside in Glenmore).
This means I will have three additional churches and three extra
Masses. This should not be a problem with some careful planning,
but it will mean changes to Mass times in both parishes.
So, from the first weekend in August (1st & 2nd), Masses in Glenmore will be:
Saturday’s, 6pm and Sundays at 11.30am. Rosbercon Masses will be
announced in due course.
Anniversaries
These are shared for weekend Masses. If families want an individual Mass, for just their
intention we offer weekday Masses.
Please check the anniversary list carefully and let me know if you come across any
errors in names or times (I do makes mistakes from time to time).

A Thought
Life is made up far more of ordinary days than extraordinary ones, yet it is often in the
ordinary that God does His greatest work. A kind word, a helping hand, a quiet prayer,
Or a moment spent with someone we love can become a blessing beyond measure.
This week, don't rush past the simple moments. They may seem small, but they are often
where God is quietly present, reminding us that His grace is found
not only in the remarkable, but in the everyday.
