End of Jubilee
For those who fancy a trip to Kilkenny city this Sunday 4th, Bishop Niall Coll will close the Jubilee Year in Ossory with Mass at 5pm in St. Mary’s Cathedral. All welcome to attend.

Epiphany
Tuesday is the solemnity of the Epiphany of the Lord. The Feast celebrates the moment when Jesus is revealed not just to Israel, but to the whole world. In the visit of the Wise Men, guided by a star, we see that Christ is God’s gift for all peoples and nations. Epiphany reminds us that God still draws people toward the light of Christ in unexpected ways—and that we, too, are called to recognise that light and share it generously with others.
Epiphany is a holy day of obligation. Mass is at 10am in Glenmore.

Parish Finances
January is the month when some people make their yearly contribution to the parish. Thank you. Please indicate, with your contribution, whether is it for the parish, the priest’s salary, or both.
For those who contribute weekly, the parish envelopes will commence in February. Using the weekly envelope allows us to record people’s contributions and, where applicable, claim back the tax already paid on your donation.
When the contribution box arrives, it will contain both the parish weekly envelopes and the 6 priest’s salary envelopes.

Parish IBAN
For those who wish to contribute to the parish online, either by monthly direct debit, or once a year or twice a year, our parish IBAN is IE76 BOFI 9066 3811 5069 20. this is the parish account only, not the priests account. Thank you for your support

House Visits
I will be recommencing my house visitations in the coming week. If you sent in a request for a call I’ll be in touch.

Hall Bookings
All bookings for the Community Hall should be made through me, especially new groups looking to use the Hall. Sometimes a clash of groups does occur. We strive to accommodate as many people/groups as possible. Fr. Liam
