Parish Contribution Envelopes
New parish envelopes will be distributed soon (to start in February). Please use the envelopes each week where possible.
The new box of envelopes will also contain the 6 priest’s salary collections so, if you pay yearly, you may still want a box to contribute to these.

Chairty Tax Refund (CHY)
We are delighted to receive €2,600 in a refund from revenue. This is only for 2021 and we still have to receive a rebate for 2022-24. Thanks to all who are taking part in this scheme. It does not cost the doner a single penny extra.
If you received a CHY form, and have yet to return it, please do as soon as you can.
House Visits
I will be continuing my house visitations in the coming week. If you filled out a visitation form, I’ll be in touch.

Hall Bookings
All bookings for the Community Hall should be made through me, especially new groups looking to use the Hall. Sometimes a clash of groups does occur. We strive to accommodate as many people/groups as possible. Fr. Liam
Parish Confirmation
The date of confirmation in our parish is Wednesday, 11th March. This date was chosen with the understanding Bishop Coll would be leading the ceremony. Now that he will soon be Bishop of Raphoe we are waiting on instructions on what changes, if any will take place re: confirmation. As soon as this is known I will let you know.

Ploughing
The Tullogher Glenmore Ploughing Association will be holding their 22nd Annual Ploughing match on Saturday 24th January at 11am sharp by the kind permission of Catherine Fleming with the Eircode of X91 RC43. All the usual classes will be in place with associated great prizes. Entries will be accepted before 8pm on Wednesday 21st January 2026 to Edward Forristal 0879240019 or to Philly Hartley 0872506337 and spectators are most welcome on the day

Ceili Dancing returns on Tuesday at 8pm in the Community Hall. All welcome.

Women’s Shed
The Women’s shed meet on Thursday at 11am in the Community Hall. All welcome.
Defibrillator
The defibrillator is now located outside the front door of the Community Hall. I forgot to thank Keith Bradfield who fitted the unit, assisted by Pat Dowling. Thanks to them both and thanks to all who took part in the recent course on using the machine.

Thank you to Declan Roche Social Dancing for the very generous donation to the hall of €230 from a recent raffle they held for the Hall. Declan is one of our top contributors to the hall and we wish him and the dancing group all the best. Their next dance will be in March. All are welcome to join them for this social dancing.
