Special Education Needs Collection
The annual diocesan collection for children with special education needs is this weekend. This will be taken up with the normal offertory collection. Anything which is above the usual weekly amount will be sent to the diocese in your behalf. Please support of you can.
Fundraising Horse Night
The Horse Race Night on the Big Screen, takes place on Friday, 17th July. Promoters are currently going around the parish seeking support. Backing a horse is €20 and you get three for €50. You can also sponsor a race for €200. Please support. This is a fundraiser exclusively for the Community Hall Roof Repair, and your support is greatly appreciated.
Glenmore Rural Graveyard Upkeep
The group will hold their AGM in Glenmore Community Hall on Thursday, 28th May at 8pm. All welcome.
Sharing Anniversaries
If you book a weekend Mass, it will be with the understanding that families may have to share a particular weekend Mass with others. So far this is working well.
For those who wish to have their own Mass, we offer weekday Masses at 10am.
Cushions
If you require a cushion to sit on the hard seats in the church, some are available in the
sacristy.

There will be rosary at Ballyvaria Grotto tomorrow, Monday, 25th May at 7.30pm
The 41st All Ireland Rosary Rally will takeplace on Saturday, 6th June at Knock Shrine
Ossory Pilgrimage to Lourdes
This starts next Monday, May 25th to 30th.

The Cemetery Mass will take place on Friday, 24th July at 7.30pm

The annual gathering at our cemeteries for the rosary & blessing of graves takes place

Cemetery Tree
The Yew tree inthe parish cemetery (to the right of the church), is impacting surrounding
graves, as well as contributing to a green coating appearing on surrounding
graves. It is our intention to cut this down in the coming months. Any observations, objections, please let me know.
Newsletter
The newsletter is undergoing very slight changes as we move to a new publishing programme (The
old one is ceasing operation).
Scrap Metal Collection
Proceeds going to open a community shop café for Glenmore. Scrap Iron, old cars etc can be dropped off at Aylwardstown, X34HX67. To have metal collected, contact Richie 086 249 4256 or Fidelis 087 975 2556
The Glenmore Pantomime Society
The society will hold its AGM on Wed 10th June at 7:30pm, during which a new committee will
be elected. The society continues to be a great asset to the local community,
bringing people together through fun, creativity, and entertainment. We’re
looking forward to another successful year ahead and exciting plans for 2026.
Everyone is very welcome to attend — whether you’d simply like to hear about
the year ahead, support the society, or get more involved. We look forward to seeing you on the night.

Corpus Christi
On Sunday, June 7th, we celebrate the special feast day of The Most Holy Body & Blood of Jesus (Corpus Christi). After the Sunday Mass, and weather permitting, we plan to hold a short procession from the
church to the new section of the cemetery for prayers and benediction. Mark the occasion in your diary and join us.
Exams Mass
Bishop Ger will celebrate Mass for Leaving and Junior Cert. students, their parents/guardians, grandparents, teachers, school staff and families, on Monday, 1st June 2026 in StCanice’s Church, Kilkenny, at 7.30 p.m. You can attend or watch online at: www.stcanicesparish.ie
