Lenten Alms
The Lenten Alms Collection, used for supporting diocesan charities will be taken up this weekend. If you can support, please do.

First Friday Visits
I will make my visits to the sick and housebound on Monday, 30th at the usual times.

Holy Thursday
We have changed the time of the Holy Thursday Mass to 7pm, to allow more people attend. Holy Thursday begins the Easter Triduum.

Parish Radio
We have now retired the old CB radio broadcasting from the parish church. We are still available via the internet. Just follow the links from the parish website at www.glenmoreparish.ie
If anyone would like to sponsor the parish webcam, that would be appreciated. The cost for the web service is €500 per year (Much cheaper than most web hosting companies which charge over €2,000).

Parish Liturgy Group
The liturgy group will meet next Monday at 7.30pm in the sacristy. This is to make final plans for the Easter Triduum which begins on Thursday

Mass of Chrism
Bishop Gerard Nash, Bishop of Frens and Apostolic Administrator of Ossory extends and invitation for you to travel up to St. Mary’s Cathedral next Wednesday for the Mass of Chrism which starts at 7.30pm.
This is an opportunity to join the bishop and priests of the diocese as they renew their vows for another year. It is also an opportunity to see how old and how few we priests have gotten

Cemetery Mass
This years cemetery Mass will be help on Friday, 24th July at 7pm.

Sharing Anniversaries
Going forward, booking for weekend Masses will be with the understanding that families may have to share a particular weekend Mass with others. For those who wish to have an individual Mass, we offer weekday Masses at 10am.

Vocations. Thinking of Priesthood?

Hall Closed
The Community Hall will be closed on Good Friday and Holy Saturday.

Holy Places Collection
At next Friday’s 3pm Service (Good Friday), there will be a collection for holy places and shrines, to support churches in war torn countries or where the church is in need of financial support. Please support if you can.

The Seven Last Words of Jesus
On Good Friday night at 8pm, we will gather in the church for a special service which helps us reflect on the final moments of Jesus life on earth. There will also be an opportunity to venerate the cross and light a candle. All welcome

Fundraising
The Fundraising Committee are planning two fundraisers that will benefit both the Community Hall and the parish.
Horse Race Night on the Big Screen, 17th July; Harvest Supper, 16th October
