Almost There
As we gather this weekend for the Fifth Sunday of Lent, we find ourselves on the threshold of something sacred.
Lent is beginning to draw to a close, and the Church invites us now to turn more deliberately toward Easter.
These final weeks are not about doing more, but about going deeper — making space for God, perhaps returning if we’ve drifted, or simply beginning again.
Holy Week is just around the corner. Now is the time.
Parish Penitential Service
A parish penitential service will be held in Glenmore Church, next Thursday at 7pm. This will be an opportunity to reflect on our need for God’s forgiveness, and for those who wish, to receive absolution. (Note, this is not general absolution). All welcome.
Radio Ga Ga?
Is anyone listening in on the parish radio any more? The radio is an obsolete piece of equipment (CB Format), that requires a special handset to listen in. If no one is listening, we will retire the parish radio.
Mass Cards
Signed Mass Cards, both for the living and the deceased are available in the sacristy. Suggested donation is €10. Please leave the name of the intention you want the mass to be offered for.
