Corpus Christi
Next Sunday, June7th, we celebrate the special feast day of The Most Holy Body &
Blood of Jesus (Corpus Christi). After the Sunday Mass, and weather
permitting, we plan to hold a short procession from the church to the
new section of the cemetery for prayers and benediction. Mark the
occasion in your diary and join us.
Fundraising HorseNight
The Horse Race Nighton the Big Screen, takes place on Friday, 17th July. Promoters are
currently going around the parish seeking support. Backing a horse
is €20 and you get three for €50. You can also sponsor a race
for €200. Please support. This is a fundraiser exclusively for
the Community Hall Roof Repair, and your support is greatly
appreciated.
Sharing Anniversaries
If you book aweekend Mass, it will be with the understanding that families may
have to share a particular weekend Mass with others. So far this is
working well. For those who wish to have their own Mass, we offer weekday Masses at 10am.

The Cemetery Masswill take place on Friday, 24th July at 7.30pm

The GlenmorePantomime Society
The society willhold its AGM on Wed 10th June at 7:30pm, during which a new committeewill be elected. The society continues to be a great asset to the
local community, bringing people together through fun, creativity,
and entertainment. We’re looking forward to another successful year
ahead and exciting plans for 2026. Everyone is very welcome to attend
— whether you’d simply like to hear about the year ahead, support
the society, or get more involved. We look forward to seeing you on
the night.
Exams
Best of luck to allstudents who begin exams next Wednesday. We will keep you in our
prayers, and your grannies will be busy lighting candles for you in
the coming weeks.
Parish Website
The parish websitewill be undergoing some changes in the coming weeks, particularly to
begin accommodation of closer pastoral ties with Rosbercon. More on
this later.
First Friday’s
I will be making myregular calls, next Friday at the usual times. Anyone who would like
to be included, get in touch.
Cemetery MaintenanceCommittee
The committee arelooking for volunteers to join them in maintaining the older
cemeteries in our parish. If you have a few hours to spare and want
to join a group of sound lads, then phone Harry on 085 777 1367.
Rosary Rally
To coincide with theAll-Ireland Rosary Rally on Saturday, June 6th, the Legion of Mary
will gather at the grotto in Glenmore at 4.30 to recite the rosary.
